Mike Brummit

Mike is one of our most ardent members of our support team, but he has not quite hung up his cleats yet. He recently donned his new yellow shorts and represented the Twits at the Ebb Tide’s recent 50th anniversary game. This bruising forward has played in the front row and second row as well. Mike joined the Twits in 2011 and has toured with our club to Japan, Phoenix, San Francisco, Cuba, and New Orleans. Prior to his stay with the Twits, Mike carried the ball for Capilano RFC, Velox RFC, Chimbu RFC (PaPau, New Guinea) and the University of Calgary Stags (club side). Some of his greatest achievements include winning two national championships playing rugby league in Papua, New Guinea. Be sure to ask Mike to show you his two championship rings. He is a retired economist living the high life in Victoria, B.C. His one aspiration is to play a game with his youngest son who played for the Alberta U16s.

I am sure Mike still has a lot to teach him. You have quite a distinguished rugby career.
