Chuck Jung

11/2022

Doctor C. Jung just passed the halfway mark in his red decade and has played for the Twilighters for approximately 27 years.  Legendary manager, George Cook put him in as a hooker for the first couple years and then convinced him to play prop.  Although he did well as a prop, he knew it wasn’t his true position.  Chuck finally left the prop position due to a dislocated shoulder.  The injury wasn’t from propping, but from a misplaced tackle with a huge Tongan.  He then moved to flank and spent some time as a utility back.

Other than high school, the good doctor played mainly hook for the University of Calgary Stags (club side).  Chuck was the club president of the Stags for a year and during that time he got married, which Lena will never let him forget.  Other than hanging out at the club bar, when it’s open, he moonlights as a psychologist.  Doctor J can be often be heard saying, “Let me book you in.”  He’s really looking for more patients.  (I heard a certain Twit might require counseling with anger management issues.)

Chuck feels his biggest achievement with the Twits was getting lost in Portland… and Martin saving their lives at the Lamplighter in Portland.  (You’ll have to get more details from him.)  How time flies…
