SUMMARY:SEASON ICEBREAKER OPENING TOURNAMENT Sept. 6-8 Kelowna BC
DESCRIPTION:The 2024 Ice Breaker weekend Tournament will be held in Kelowna BC September 6-8 Hosted by the Priest Valley Vicars as part of their 40th Anniversary.  The Vicars have a great weekend planned with an international tournament\, live entertainment and beer garden. Cascadia Masters Rugby Union member teams will all start their 2024-2025 Season with a round robin tournament. \nWeekend Schedule \n Friday 6th\nMasters Referee Clinic (venu TBA) see Club President for details president@twilighterrugby.com \nMeet and greet 6pm onwards\, a few beers\, some food\, and a game of touch rugby at the Vicars Clubhouse. \nSaturday 7th\nTournament Schedule with the first game starting at 10am\, and the last game finishing around 5:15pm\nBeer Garden with band starting at 6pm. \nSunday 8th\nCanada v rest of the world Masters Match in the morning\, kickoff 10am. \nGame Times\n10am – 6pm\nAll games will consist of two 12-minute half’s with a 3 min half time so teams will play a total of 5 games against 5 different teams with a total playing time of 2hrs\nPoints awarded • Win 4 • Tie 2 • Loss 1 • 1 Bonus point awarded for 3+ tries scored in a game\nTeams\n• Priest Valley Vicars\n• Edmonton Antediluvians\n• Northwest Old Boy\n• Ebb Tide\n• Evergreens\n• Originals\n• Semiahmoo Old Boys\n• Snowcaps\n• Twilighters\n• Barbarian Hordes (Penticton & Vernon) \n
