Rick Sidhu

Rick has been with the Twilighters for the past two years. This speedster has done a great job playing standoff, center, and wing for us in his black shorts. Rick had to dust off his boots to restart his career since the last time he played was in 1999. (That is close to 22 years ago for you mathematicians.) Some of the clubs Rick previously carried the ball for are the BLRC and BCIT Rugby. In his early days he played for the Cariboo Hill High School Rugby Club in Burnaby under the guidance of legendary coaches John Adams and Andrew Eckhart. Under their tutelage, they won the Burnaby/New West 1995 High School Championship. In his professional life, he is the president of Sidca Trading, Western Wood Preservers, Socco Forest Products and Sidwest Developments. It is a good thing Rick has found time to play for the Twits. Rick’s aspiration is to continue playing as long as his body says it’s okay. That should lead us into the next few decades.

Great to have you with us, Rick.
