Luke Barlow

Despite tweaking his knee during the summer, Luke donned his white shorts and made a great debut with the Twilighters.  During the first half of the season, he played mainly with the backs, usually wing center or fly half.  Luke has been with the club for only half a season, but his experience and savvy play has helped the Twits immensely,  He started his rugby career in 1997 on his school’s U15 team.  They were runner up to the premiership winners.  Some of his other accomplishments included:

–          Playing as a winger in Rugby League 95-97
–          Winning best and fairest in U17’s Schoolboy League
–          Being selected as a shadow reserve for NSW Country U17’s in 99
–          Touring with the NSW U19 UK rugby tour in 99  (played 8 games in the UK)

His real-life occupation consists of being  a camera assistant/technician for the film industry.  Luke’s rugby aspiration in life is to focus solely on rugby tours away from his wife and kids.   Remember, Luke, what happens on tour stays on tour.
